15 New Songs Out Today: Gorillaz, Hemlocke Springs, J. Cole & More! (2026)

Feeling overwhelmed by the sheer volume of new music released every week? You're not alone! With countless artists dropping fresh tracks, it can be tough to keep up. But don't worry, I've got a roundup of some exciting new releases to get you started. Let's dive in!

First up, we have Gorillaz, teasing their upcoming album The Mountain (due out in March) with two contrasting tracks: "Orange County" featuring Bizarrp, Kara Jackson & Anoushka Shankar and "The Hardest Thing" featuring Tony Allen. A great way to get a taste of what's to come!

Next, we have hemlocke springs with their latest single "W-W-W-W-W," a track from their highly anticipated debut LP the apple tree under the sea, which is set to arrive next month. This is an appealing slice of alt-pop.

Then there's Hater with their new single "Angel Cupid." The band's vocalist, Caroline Landahl, shared that the song came from a place of frustration with love songs. Their new album Mosquito is scheduled for release on March 6.

Daughter is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their sophomore album Not To Disappear by sharing a new song, "Not Enough," originally written during the album sessions. It's a nostalgic look back at their creative process.

Flore Laurentienne, aka Quebec producer and composer Mathieu David Gagnon, has announced a new album Volume III, which is out April 10 via Secret City Records. The preview track "Régate" has a unique sound. "The more the piece unfolds, the more the melody becomes desynchronized," he explains. He also mentioned that the synthesizer used to make the ostinato is the same one they used on Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon, the EMS Synthi.

A.G. Cook offers a taste of his score for the Charli XCX mockumentary The Moment with the pulsating "Offscreen."

GENA (Karriem Riggins & Liv.e) are giving us a preview of their anticipated new album The Pleasure is Yours, due out in February, with the soulful track "Lead It Up."

Institute, the Austin punks, have announced a self-titled EP arriving February 20 via Anti Fade, and they've released the snarling, driving lead single "The Shooter."

The Notwist is releasing their first album in five years, News from Planet Zombie, in March. The latest single is a cover of Lovers’ “How the Story Ends.”

J. Cole is releasing The Fall-Off on February 6, and judging by the first single being called “Disc 2 Track 2,” it’s looking like a double album.

Julianna Riolino has announced a deluxe edition of her 2025 sophomore album Echo in the Dust, due out on February 27 via Moonwhistle Records, including the country-tinged new single “Don’t Put Me in the Middle.”

NO/MÁS releases their new LP No Peace on March 13 via Redefining Darkness, and today we get this pulverizing new single “Ley Indigena.”

Lamb of God has announced a new album, Into Oblivion, and they've also shared the title track, which opens the album.

By Storm, the surviving members of Injury Reserve, RiTchie and producer Parker Corey, announced their debut album and gave us a taste with “And I Dance.”

Finally, Modern Woman, led by singer-songwriter Sophie Harris, is releasing their debut album, and this is the first taste with "Dashboard Mary."
